MURTER , Murter is a tourist place located on the island of the same name belonging to the group of North Dalmatian islands. This is the most numerous and densest group of islands in the Adriatic Sea and even further .The island of Murter spreads parallel with the coast between the towns of Šibenik and Zadar and it is connected with the mainland by means of a moveable 30 meter long bridge. The total area of the island is 188 km2, while its length is 11 km. Road distance from Šibenik is 30km, from Zadar 65 km and from Split 105 km. Two nearest airports are in Zadar and in Split.
